What is a suzani jacket?

Suzani is a Central Asian embroidery tradition: bold medallions, blooming vines, pomegranates and birds worked in dense chain stitch. A suzani jacket carries that work on a relaxed, boxy jacket that layers over dresses, denim and knits, which makes it an easy statement piece for boutiques, concept stores and festive capsules.
