Ceea ce facem
To be plain: we make western womenswear for export brands. We do not make Indian ethnic wear such as sarees, salwar suits or lehengas.
Stiluri. Our core is dresses in midi, maxi, shirt and tiered shapes. You can see how we handle that range on our page for ladies dresses manufacturer and wholesale comenzi. Alongside dresses we make tops and blouses, seturi de coordonare, fuste şi caftanuri. For one-piece styles, see our notes on working as a jumpsuit manufacturer in India. If you plan a seasonal range, the guide to wholesale summer dresses for boutiques is a useful starting point.
Țesături. We work mainly with woven cottons and cellulosic fibres: voal de bumbac, batist, poplin and slub, amestecuri de in, chambray and denim-look cottons, viscose and rayon, and modal. Voile and cambric suit light, drapey summer dresses and blouses. Poplin gives a crisper shirt dress or co-ord. Slub and linen blends add texture and a relaxed look. Viscoză, rayon and modal drape well but need careful handling in cutting and sewing. Certified fabric can be sourced from mills that hold their own certification, la cerere.
Techniques. Prints can be block, ecran sau digital. Block printing suits handcrafted, slightly irregular repeats. Screen printing suits solid colour work and larger runs. Digital printing suits detailed, multi-colour artwork. We also do embroidery, pintucks and smocking, yarn-dyed stripes and checks (where the pattern is woven in, not printed), and garment dyeing for a washed, softer colour.
Fit and fabric decisions that matter in bulk
Most problems in womenswear bulk orders come from decisions left open at sample stage. These are the points we ask buyers to settle before cutting.
- Grading a size set. Approve the sample in one size, then confirm the grade rules for every other size: how much bust, talie, hip and length change from size to size. Dresses with waist seams, tiers or smocking need grading checked on the finished garment, not just the pattern.
- Fit samples on your base size. Tell us which size your fit model or block uses, and send measurements or a reference garment. Fitting on a different size and grading up or down is the usual cause of fit complaints.
- Shrinkage and pre-washing. Bumbac, linen blends and viscose all move in washing. Specify the shrinkage tolerance you accept and whether fabric or garments should be pre-washed. Garment-dyed and washed finishes shrink differently from unwashed ones, so approve the sample in the finish you will receive.
- Print alignment at seams. Dungi, checks and large prints need a decision on matching at centre front, side seams and sleeves. Matching uses more fabric and takes more cutting care, so say so at quotation, not after.
- Buttons and plackets. Give us button size, material and spacing, and the placket width and interfacing. Light fabrics such as voile gape or pucker if the placket is too heavy or the buttons are too far apart.
- Care and size labels by market. Requirements for fibre content, simboluri de îngrijire, country of origin and size marking differ between markets. Tell us where you will sell, and send your label artwork or wording so it is attached correctly.
Cum rulează o comandă
- Brief or tech pack: you send a design, a reference garment or a brief. A clear pachet tehnic removes most guesswork.
- Fabric and print development: we source or develop the fabric, and prepare print, embroidery or dye strike-offs for approval.
- Sample and fit approval: we make the sample, you review fit, finish and details, and we revise until you approve it.
- Producție în vrac: tăiere, sewing and finishing begin once the sample, fabric and trims are approved.
- Inline and final inspection: garments are checked during production and again before packing, against the approved sample and measurements.
- Documentație de ambalare și export: we pack to your labelling and carton instructions and prepare the paperwork for shipment.
What to send us for a quote
- A tech pack, sketch or reference garment for each style.
- Your base size, size range and measurement chart.
- Fabric preference or a swatch, plus any print, embroidery or dye details.
- Quantity per style and per colour.
- Tăiați, button, label and packaging requirements.
- Your target market, so we can advise on labelling and care requirements.
Common questions
Do you make Indian ethnic wear?
Nu. We make western womenswear for export brands. Caftanuri are made as resort and leisure wear, not traditional dress.
Can you work from my own design?
Da. You can send your own design for private label, choose from our designs, or ask us to develop a style (ODM). The article on white label versus private label explains the difference.
What is your minimum order?
Din 100 la 300 piese pe stil, pe culoare. The exact figure depends on the fabric and technique.
I am a new label. Can I still order?
Da. We work with new labels as well as established brands. Send what you have, even a sketch and reference images, and we will tell you what else is needed.
Can you mix prints and plains in one order?
Da, provided each style and colour meets the minimum. Printed fabrics are developed separately, so confirm artwork and colourways early.
