What buyers in these markets usually order
North American buyers mostly order dresses, šatky, shirts and kaftany. Resort shops in Australia and South America order kaftans, pareos, scarves and shirts for their summer season.
Import duty and trade rules
- Austrália: under the India–Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement, in force since December 2022, qualifying Indian textiles and clothing enter Australia duty-free with a certificate of origin. We arrange the certificate for qualifying shipments.
- United States: US tariffs on goods from India have changed several times since 2025 and are still changing. Confirm the current rate for your products with your customs broker before you order, and we will help with the documents they ask for. - Canada and Latin America: India has no free trade agreement in force with Canada. India has partial preferential trade agreements with Chile and with the Mercosur countries, which include Uruguay, but whether they cover a given product depends on the item. Your broker can confirm the rate.

- Dimenzovanie: USA, Canadian and Australian size charts differ. Send yours, or a fitted sample, and we grade to it.
- Labelling: fibre content, care and country-of-origin labels that follow the rules of your market, with your brand labels and tags.
- Seasons: Australia and South America sell summer ranges when the northern hemisphere is in winter. Give us your in-store date and we will plan back from it.

áno. We work with new labels as well as established brands, and we can advise on fabric, fit and capsule planning before you commit to bulk.
Can I mix dresses, kaftans and scarves in one order?
áno. The minimum applies per style and per colour, so you can combine categories in one shipment.
Can you make to my tech pack?
áno. We sample from your tech pack, and you approve measurements and construction before bulk production starts.
