Плажната чанта изглежда като най-простото нещо в курортната гама и се държи като най-трудното. Тя е без подплата или полуподплата, носи неудобен товар, става мокро и песъчливо, и се оценява почти изцяло по две неща, за които купувачът на облекло рядко трябва да мисли: whether the base holds its shape and whether the handles stay attached. KK Fashion Exports makes custom cotton canvas, jute and juco bags for wholesale and private-label buyers from Noida, Индия, alongside the плажно облекло and accessory ranges they usually ship with, and has exported since 2003.
This page is about the decisions that actually determine whether a bag programme works — the ones that are cheap to change in a specification and expensive to discover in a container.

Canvas Weight Is a Machine Decision, Not Only a Hand Decision
Cotton canvas for чанти is specified by weight in ounces per square yard, and the trade grades cluster at around 10, 12 и 16 унция. Buyers tend to choose between them by feel, on the assumption that heavier is better. What heavier actually buys you is a bag that stands up unsupported when it is empty. What it costs you is everywhere the cloth has to turn a corner.
At a boxed base, the corner is where the base panel, both side panels and the seam allowances meet. On a light canvas that is a manageable stack. On a heavy one it becomes a build-up thick enough that a standard lockstitch machine will skip stitches, deflect the needle or simply stall, and the operator compensates by pulling the work through — which is how you get a wandering seam at exactly the point that carries the load. Heavy canvas is a walking-foot job with a heavier needle and thread, and the corner construction has to be designed for it: a separate boxed base panel rather than folded-and-stitched corners, and the seam allowances graded so they do not all stack in the same place.
The practical guidance is to pick the weight from the shape you want, not from a general preference. A soft, packable tote wants a lighter canvas and will look wrong in a heavy one. A structured, square-based beach tote needs the heavier cloth and needs the construction to match it. Specifying a heavy canvas on a pattern drafted for a light one is one of the more common reasons a bulk bag looks clumsier than its sample.
The Handle Is Where Bags Fail
Drop, not strap length
The most frequent specification error we see on tote bags is a handle dimension given without saying whether it is the drop or the total strap length. The drop is the vertical distance from the top of the bag to the bottom of the handle loop; the total length is roughly twice that plus the attachment. Get them confused and the bag is either a hand-carry when the buyer wanted a shoulder carry, or a shoulder bag with handles that trail. It is worth stating both figures in the tech pack, with a sketch, precisely because the industry uses the words inconsistently.
The load path, and why the fabric tears before the thread does
When a loaded tote fails at the handle, the thread is usually intact. What has torn is the fabric or the webbing at the stitch line. A dense box-with-cross stitch pattern — the standard reinforcement — concentrates a great many needle penetrations along a short line, and a line of holes is a tear line. Three things prevent it: a stitch length long enough not to perforate the webbing into a serration, the raw end of the webbing turned under so the cut edge is not the load-bearing point, and a reinforcement patch or a doubled facing behind the attachment so the load spreads into the bag rather than into a single layer of canvas.
Rope handles fail differently. They are usually knotted through eyelets, and the eyelet is the weak point: it cuts a hole in the panel and then bears the entire load on the ring of fabric around that hole. An eyelet in single-layer canvas will pull through. It needs a reinforcement washer and a doubled patch behind it, and the knot needs to be large enough that it cannot be worked back through under load.
Jute and Juco Do Not Behave Like Cotton
Jute and cotton-jute blends give the rustic look the beach category wants, and they bring three properties a cotton buyer will not expect.
Moisture. Jute has a high moisture regain — it holds a lot of water from the air. Bags packed even slightly damp and then shipped in a sea container across the tropics can arrive with mildew spotting, and that is a total loss, not a defect to be sorted through. Goods have to be dry at packing, and the packing has to allow for the humidity swing in transit rather than sealing moisture in.
Shed. Jute sheds fibre, particularly when new. A jute bag carried against dark clothing leaves lint. A cotton lining solves it and adds a lining construction, cost and a seam that then has to be finished; an unlined jute bag is cheaper and will shed. That is a decision for the buyer to take knowingly rather than to discover from a customer.
Печат. Jute’s weave is open and its surface is uneven, so a screen print sits on top of the yarns and breaks along the crossings when the cloth flexes. Fine detail and small text do not survive on raw jute. Either keep the artwork bold and low-detail, print onto a laminated or coated jute ground, or apply the branding on a stitched-on cotton or canvas label patch — which is often the better-looking answer anyway.
Laminates and Linings: What They Cost You Later
A water-resistant inner laminate is a popular ask for a beach bag and it has real drawbacks worth stating up front. A laminated bag cannot be washed and will not tolerate a hot press. The laminate changes the hand and makes the bag audibly crinkly. And it ages: stored folded under compression in a hot warehouse or container, laminates can delaminate or block, which shows up as patches lifting away from the cloth long after the goods were accepted. For a bag intended to last several seasons, an unlaminated bag with a separate wipe-clean liner or a wet-bag insert is usually the better construction. For a promotional bag with a short life, the laminate is fine. The right answer depends on the life of the product, not on which sounds more premium.
Print on the Roll, Then Cut
Cotton canvas shrinks when a print is cured. If panels are cut to size and then printed, they come off the cure smaller than the gusset and base panels that were not printed, and the pieces no longer match at assembly — a seam that runs out by the end of its length, or a printed panel that has to be eased into a base that is now too big for it. Printing on the roll and cutting afterwards avoids it. Where the design has to be placement-printed on a cut panel, the panel must be cut oversized by the measured cure shrinkage and trimmed to size after printing. Either method works; mixing them within one bag does not.
Товарни превози: A Beach Bag Ships by Volume
Bags are bulky and light, so ocean and air freight are charged on volumetric weight rather than actual weight. This makes packing design a genuine cost line rather than an afterthought. A structured tote shipped assembled and unfolded can occupy several times the cube of the same bag flat-packed or nested, and that difference lands on the landed cost of every unit. Where a bag has a sewn-in base stiffener it cannot be flattened at all; a removable base board can be shipped flat inside the bag. It is worth deciding the packing method at the same time as the construction, and asking for the carton dimensions and cube before the order is confirmed rather than after.

Bags are most often ordered alongside a beachwear range rather than on their own, and European buyers in particular tend to take them as part of a coordinated summer story. The pieces themselves are listed in our beach bags range, with the natural-fibre options in торби от юта and the structured styles in canvas bags.
To quote properly we need the shape and finished dimensions, the handle drop, the canvas weight or a physical reference bag, whether you want a lining or a laminate, and the artwork with its intended placement. A reference bag you already sell is the single most useful thing you can send.
