Buyers in the Gulf and the Levant usually order kaftans, scarves and shawls, stoles, shirts and dresses, mostly in light cotton and viscose for the heat.
We make to your measurements, so lengths, sleeves and necklines follow your specification. Tell us how the pieces will be worn and sold, and we will settle the pattern and fabric at the sampling stage.
Trade agreements with India
- United Arab Emirates: the India–UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement has been in force since May 2022. Goods of Indian origin can qualify for preferential entry, supported by a certificate of origin, which we arrange for qualifying shipments.
- Oman: the India–Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement entered into force in June 2026. Ask your customs broker how it applies to your products.
- Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar: India and the Gulf Cooperation Council started free trade negotiations in 2026, and they have not yet concluded. Standard customs duties apply for now.

Fabrics for a hot climate
- Cotton voile and cambric: light and breathable for kaftans, shirts and scarves.
- Viscose and modal blends: fluid drape for long kaftans and dresses, and they take rich print colours.
- Woven and printed shawls: lightweight stoles and shawls in cotton, viscose and blends for layering.

Can you make modest cuts to my specification?
Yes. We work from your measurements and sketches, and we revise samples until the length, sleeve and fit are right.
Can you add Arabic labels or hangtags?
Yes. Send us the wording and artwork, and we will produce labels and tags to your design.
Can I combine kaftans and scarves in one order?
Yes. The minimum applies per style and per colour, so you can mix categories in one shipment.
