Poncho styles
- Beach ponchos: loose, open-sided cover-ups in woven cotton, viscose or chiffon, often with a drawstring or tie waist, tassels or pom-poms.
- Knitted winter ponchos: open-front wraps and pull-over shapes in acrylic and wool-blend knits, plain, striped, chevron or checked.

Fabrics and prints
For beach ponchos we use cotton voile and slub, yarn-dyed woven cotton, viscose and chiffon. Cotton holds a crisp shape and suits stripes and borders. Viscose and chiffon drape and float, and carry prints well. Prints can be screen, digital or block printed; stripes and checks are woven from dyed yarn. Sizing
Most adult ponchos are one size, cut wide so they fit a range of bodies. We agree the body width, the length at front and back and the neck opening with you, and grade where a style needs it. Kids’ towel ponchos are made in age bands, for example toddler, small child and older child, with the hood and length scaled to each band.
Kids’ safety and labelling

Private label and MOQ
We sew your brand label, add care labels and swing tags, and pack each poncho folded and bagged or on a hanger. The minimum is 200 pieces per style, per colour; see our minimum order quantity page for how it works across products.
Shipping
Ponchos pack flat and ship well by sea or by air. We prepare the export paperwork and mark cartons by style, colour and size, so your warehouse can receive them without opening every box.
Trims and finishing details
Trims are where a poncho earns its price. We add pom-poms, tassels, fringes, lace and crochet edges, and contrast piping, and we can make the tassels in your colour palette. Drawstrings and tie belts are made from self fabric or cord. For knitted ponchos we finish edges with a rib, a rolled edge or a fringe, and we can add a jacquard border or a stripe placement that lines up at the front opening. Tell us which trims you want at the brief stage, because they change both the sample and the lead time.
How an order runs
- Brief: you send photos, a sketch, a tech pack or style numbers from our range, with your target colours and quantities.
- Fabric and pattern development: we source or develop the fabric, yarn-dyed stripes, knits or prints, and cut the pattern for the poncho shape you want.
- Sample approval: we make a sample in the agreed fabric, size and colours, you review it, and we revise until you approve.
- Bulk production: cutting, knitting or weaving, sewing, trims and finishing begin once the sample and trims are approved.
- Inspection: we check measurements, trims, colour and workmanship during production and again before packing.
- Packing and export documents: Ponchos are packed and labelled to your instructions, and we prepare the export paperwork.
